Lot of Synth DIY Parts

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction
via the seller: "I am moving and beginning work on my PhD and do have time nor room for this stuff anymore. You are bidding on the support materials for my 15 year hobby in building, tweaking, modifying analog synthesizers, audio component creation, circuit bending, kit making, etc. It would be too time consuming to list everything. Many parts are new, some vintage, some are quite valuable but I don't have time to dig around and see what those are individually, so don't ask, please. I was fairly well known in the Analogue Heaven online (and personal) community in the 90s and bought, repaired, and sold plenty of Moog, Serge, ARP, Yamaha, etc., back in the day. This repair and experimentation kit was used throughout that period. I built lots of my own modules as well as those from Blacet, Paia, etc.

There are hundreds of parts (maybe over a thousand; I am not sure) most of which are new, including:

diodes (lots)
trannies (lots; inc. 2N3094 matched pair and a few other rare Moog-specific types)
ICs (about 30; again, some are valuable, some run of the mill)
LEDs
resistors (hundreds of new ones)
capacitors (extensive; most brand new)
kits (Datakits Touch/Switch plate, Color Organ, Voice Changer; all complete)
Cinch Jones (2 pin Mini Moog, 6 pin ARP 2600)
5 pin DIN plugs and jacks

Korg Monotribe Analogue Synth/Sequencer with MIDI MOD

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction
via the seller: "I bought a MIDI Modification kit from Altitude909 in America and fitted it myself. This works perfectly, allowing the Monotribe to be played from any MIDI sequencer or keyboard and be synchronized with a MIDI Clock. Adding the MIDI functionality greatly increases the flexibility of this already great little synth. To fit the kit I had to open up the Monotribe and drill two holes in the case, this all went smoothly but obviously invalidates the Korg waranty. The sockets on the side of the synth are small trs type sockets which make for a neater finish than bigger midi sockets, so of course I am including the two trs-midi cables that came with the kit.

Apart from the two extra sockets on the side the Monotribe looks like a new one. As you can see in the photos I didn't quite get the two sockets exactly level and there are some slight pencil marks next to them remaining from where I measured it up."

Shruthi-1 handbuilt monophonic synthesizer

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction
"This is a hand built monophonic synthesizer. It is in brand new condition. I think the most unique features of this synth have to be its wavetable capable oscillators mixing with a true analog vca and vcf. There are some very unique sounds that can be found with this synth. The case it comes in is clear and has honeycomb side panels. This Shruthi-1 has the SMR-4 filter. It comes with the original box and 7.5v wallwart power adapter.

You can read all about the Shruthi-1 here:

PAIA Fatman Analog Synthesizer

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"The FatMan has all of the features that give analog it's big bottom and punch in a MIDI controlled package. The classic Voltage Controlled normalization is brought up to date with a Velocity CV not available on pre-MIDI synths. Pitch wheel modulation is supported and Pitch and Velocity CVs and gate signal are provided on the front panel for driving PAiA or other linear response synthesizer modules.

And all those knobs. They invite experimentation and invention in ways that a single control with functions buried under layers of obscure menus never can. Just a few hours with the FatMan will teach you more about the nature of sound than you might ever learn otherwise. It's as at home in the physics lab as on-stage..."

Blue Lantern EURO 6HP FM JOYSTICK

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

"Introducing the new 6HP FM Joystick for Euro Modular synthesizer Format. Yup it has been shrunk to 6HP!

Some improvements happened on this new design. For example on the Joystick Push Button I added a Gate Out so that you can trigger Envelopes for example. This is SKIFF compliant. It is very thin on the back. It is less then 2" thick.

There is an X & Y Axis, spring loaded Joystick. There is also a Push button action on the joystick.

There are (2) Attenuverters, both with inputs for FM action. When the joystick is in the middle it is 0v on both axis.
When nothing is connected to the input on the joystick Axis's there is an internal Voltage so that you can bend CV (from output) one of your Modules for example. I added a 100k Trimmer so that you can adjust the internal voltage. I set it @ 6v.

The button outputs an internal gate voltage when nothing is connected to the top input. When you plug in something to the input it simply acts as a passive thru switch. You push the joystick to pass the signal.

Specs:

(1) FM-BIPOLAR INPUT ON X AXIS W/ IT'S OWN OUT
(1) FM-BIPOLAR INPUT ON Y AXIS W/ IT'S OWN OUT

(1)HOME ARCADE SOFT TOUCH JOYSTICK (LIKE XBOX TYPE PART#)

(1) INTERNAL GATE OUTPUT, ACTIVATED BY PUSH BUTTON.

THERE ARE (2) 10K TRIMMERS TO ADJUST THE 0V MIDDLE POSITION SWING.
THERE IS A 100K TRIMMER TO ADJUST THE INTERNAL +VOLTAGE. 6V IS A GOOD SETTING.

THE UNIT COMES WITH A 10 PIN TO 16 PIN IDC CABLE.
POWER SPECS: PLEASE READ THIS AND YOU SHALL NOT BE SORRY! THE MODULE CONFORMS TO THE NEWER DOEPFER POWER LAYOUT SCHEME. ON MY MODULES RED LINE IS (-12V) AND STARTS AT THE TOP.
THE SEQUENCE IS -12V/GND/GND/GND/+12V. SO +12V IS AT THE BOTTOM ON MY MODULES. ALL I DID WAS ROTATE THE DOEPFER STANDARD. THE MODULES COME SHIPPED WITH THE CABLE CONNTED CORRECTLY. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CONNECT THE RED STRIP TO YOUR -12V END ON YOUR CASE WHICH IF IT FOLLOWS MOST WILL BE AT THE BOTTOM. THERE IS A SILKSCREEN ON THE MODULE TO SEE THE LAYOUT ON THE HEADER ALSO.

THERE ARE SAFETY PTC RESETTABLE FUSES INSTALL ON THE MODULE THAT WILL OPEN THE CIRCUIT IF CONNECTED WRONG. BUT IT IS GOOD PRACTICE TO JUST READ DIRECTIONS. FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME IF YOU JUST ARE NOT SURE HOW TO CONNECT THE MODULE TO THE EURO CASE FORMAT POWER STRIP."
