"This is a fully assembled Shruthi-1 digital/analog synthesizer. This model comes with the SMR4-mkII 4 pole low pass filter. The guy that built this model included a switch on the back (see pics) for going between 2 and 4 pole functions of the filter. Really love this little guy's sound but I am trying to consolidate my home studio. It has been well maintained in a smoke-free environment and works perfectly."

"This is a Shruthi-1 with a black-on-green screen, green and amber LEDs, and featuring my own signal path modifications (described below). It has the SMR-4 filter board. This auction is only for the Shruthi-1 itself; there are no cables or power supply included. For the power supply, any universal wall wart between 7.5 and 12 volts tip-positive should do. I recommend 7.5 volts, as any more than that will only get wasted as heat inside the unit. The Radio Shack wall wart works great.

The right side honeycomb panel is broken, as shown in the picture. You can order a replacement side panel from Mutable Instruments if you like. Besides that, this synth is in perfect working condition!.."

"This is a hand built monophonic synthesizer. It is in brand new condition. I think the most unique features of this synth have to be its wavetable capable oscillators mixing with a true analog vca and vcf. There are some very unique sounds that can be found with this synth. The case it comes in is clear and has honeycomb side panels. This Shruthi-1 has the SMR-4 filter. It comes with the original box and 7.5v wallwart power adapter.

"This Shruthi-1 uses a RARE vintage Roland IR3109 Filter IC (as also used used in the SH-101, Jupiter-8, etc.). I sourced my own components for this build - not a kit. Input and Output Pot Modification. The top and bottom plastic is stained light blue. The engravings on the top and back are stained blue.
