"The SDS-8 is a powerful 5-voice analog drum synthesizer. Each channel offers complete control over the sound, giving you classic electronic drum sounds or strange blips and blasts. Each channel also offers a factory preset with the iconic Simmons tones. I triggered this SDS-8 with the individual outputs of a TR-626 (available in another auction), making it into a monster analog drum machine. That same technique can turn the Simmons into a 5-note sequencer. The possibilities are virtually limitless."
