Catgirl Cynare Analog Drum Synth Module

via this auction
"This is an MOTM-format kit for a Catgirl Synth Cynare Analog Drum Synth module. I bought it recently from Scott Deyo at Bridechamber.com and everything you need to build the module is here aside from the wire and the skills and tools to build it. From what he said this is the last of the original run aside from one other one which he was going to keep for himself so in a way this is a rarity. An audio sample can be found at the web site."

"Features
- Stereo audio input for audio processing of external stereo or mono signals, enabling the synth to act as a unique stereo effects processor.
- Monstrous four oscillator voice architecture.
- True stereo signal path with separate Curtis analog low-pass filters in each channel.
- Dedicated onboard effects (feedback, delay, distortion, high-pass filter, etc.).
- 16 x 4 step sequencer really brings the Evolver to life with evolving “pseudo-polyphonic” sounds – you won’t believe it's mono!
- Everything (sequencer, LFOs, and delay) syncs perfectly to MIDI.
- Easy-to-navigate matrix-style interface for quick editing and real-time control of 8 parameters simultaneously.
- Multiple Evolvers can be daisy-chained for more polyphony.

* Monophonic sound
* 2 analog and 2 digital oscillators
* Sawtooth, triangle, saw-triangle, and pulse waveshapes
* 96 wavetables for digital oscillators
* 32 user-loadable wavetables via MIDI

Roland SH-101

images via this auction
"The Roland SH-101 is a monophonic synthesizer, featuring a 2 1/2 octave 32-note (F-C) keyboard in a light, plastic case. It was designed as a strap-on synth with an optional modulation attachment that stuck out like a guitar neck. It can run on batteries and it came in a number of exciting colors. The SH101 was pre-MIDI, but it has CV (1 volt/octave cv) and gate inputs in the back. It features one VCO with separate levels for each waveform, saw, square, pulse, Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), and suboscillator. PWM can be set at one level or can be controlled by the EG or the LFO. The VCF is self-oscillating (resonant) and can be modulated by the envelope generator, the LFO and the keyboard (keyboard tracking). The Envelope Generator (EG) is ADSR and can be triggered by the gate or the LFO. The LFO can be set on triangle, square, random (sample-and-hold), and noise. The VCA can be controlled by the EG or the Gate. The SH-101 also features a very primitive arpeggiator and sequencer as well as portamento."

E-mu Proteus 2500

images via this auction
"Product Info:
The new Proteus 2500 is basically 4-unit version of the 128-voice Proteus 2000 rack module with much greater real-time controls and some other new tricks! The Proteus 2500 has got over 30 real-time, programmable knobs and buttons. It features the exact same great Proteus 32 MB sound set of ROM samples, and can be expanded up to 128 MB with additional sound cards from E-mu's family of genre based sound modules, keyboards, and desktop groove machines. The sounds it ships with is called the "Composer" soundset, offering sounds that cover the whole spectrum of synthesizer type sounds, from real instruments to bizarre sounds and effects.

The Proteus 2500 features a built-in 16-track MIDI sequencer, with 16 MIDI channels per track! It offers both linear and pattern based recording, real or step time, analog grid/drum machine style programming and more. Unlike the Proteus 2000, the 2500 has 24-bit DAC outputs instead of 16-bit, for enhanced sound quality. The MIDI processors have also been redesigned and are three times more efficient now than on the Proteus 2000! The 2500 has six audio outputs, S/PDIF digital output and a USB port. This is the most powerful Proteus ever, and will likely be E-mu's flagship synthesizer module for quite some time!

Current E-mu sound modules ship with one 32 MB sound-set each, but are expandable up to 128 MB via three additional slots for 32 MB expansion cards.

These cards include (ranging from $249 to $395):
* 9061: Siedlaczek Orchestra 32 MB ROM.
* 9062: Pure Phatt 32 MB ROM - standard in Mo'Phatt, MP-7 and MK-6.
* 9063: Beat Garden 32 MB ROM - standard in Orbit 3.
* 9082: Protozoa 16 MB ROM - standard in Proteus 1, 2, 3.
* 9083: Definitive B-3 32 MB ROM - standard in B-3.
* 9084: Techno Synth Construction Yard 32 MB ROM - standard in Orbit 3.
* 9085: Orchestral Session Vol. 1 32 MB ROM - standard in Virtuoso 2000.
