E-Mu Emulator II
Title link takes you to shots pulled via this auction.
Details:
"1984 Emu Emulator II sampler. the Emulator II was E-mu's second sampler. Like the Emulator I, it was an 8-bit sampler, however it had superior fidelity to the Emulator I, and allowed more flexibility in editing sounds. It was priced similarly to the Emulator I, at US $7,995 for a regular model, and $9,995 for a "plus" model featuring extra sample memory. Several upgrades, including extra disk drives and a 20 mb hard drive, were available as well. Please check out this website for more info on this fine piece of history"

Signal Arts MAPS Midi/Analog Sequencer
via this auction.
Details:
"The Signal Arts MAPS is an incredibly sophisticated 8 channel analog style sequencer that has a built in 3 channel midi/cv converter and is capable of operating as a sequencer and performing midi/cv conversion at the same time. Its functionally similar to sequencers like the Sequentix P3 or the Doepfer MAQ 16/3 and is capable of some veryclever self modulation tricks. It also has analog clock inputs and outputs, has a dinsync output and many more features.
Note that this is an earlier version of the sequencer than that advertised on the website. As far as I know the difference is that this version has no CV input and has 16 banks of memory instead of 24. I'm not sure if there are other differences so if this concerns you then please contact Signal Arts and ask them. This unit is Serial Number : SEQB10300016."

Roland System 100m
via this auction.
Details:
112 Dual VCO
This module contains two independent VCOs with expanded features; both have a range from 32' to 2', three modulation inputs, and a sync input and output. Three waveforms are available, as is Pulse Width Modulation. These VCOs are pretty stable, with a very wide range. If they are cross-synced at their higher ranges, they make a nice impersonation of FM synthesis
121 Dual VCF
Each VCF is a -24dB/octave low pass type with a built-in, fixed, high-pass filter that's switchable between three cut-off frequencies. Each VCF has cut-off frequency resonance sliders that can send them into oscillation. With a beautiful high end and a gut-rumbling low end, these VCFs sound incredibly rich and musical compared to most digitally generated filters. Use two in series, set to a different cut-off frequency, for an even deeper effect
130 Dual VCA
Each VCA can be switched between linear and exponential modes for different amplitude curves and percussive effects when used with the EG. Each has an initial gain control, which also allows the VCAs to be used without a modulation input
140 Dual EG + LFO
This module provides two ADSR EGs and a single LFO (with five selectable waveforms)
110 VCO/VCF/VCA
This module contains the three main synthesizer elements, and when combined with a Model 140 module, provides all that is needed for the production of one synthesizer voice. This arrangement is particularly convenient in a computer controlled system where the generation of each voice in a composition can be assigned primarily to one module. The connections for signal flow from the VCO, through the VCF to the VCA are made internally to save patching time. Another internal connection allows a single envelope generator input to control both the VCF and VCA. All internal connections are made with switching jacks so that they can be broken, if desired.
191-J Five Module Rack
Originally, the racks came as self-assembly units. The rack contains the power supplie, connectors and front-panel 36-jack patchbay. The front panel also featured two pairs of lined mini and standard jack sockets that are connected to two phono sockets at the rear. The sockets on the rear of the racks often get overlooked but can be very useful for linking signals to other racks and saving on patch cords

MOOG Multimoog
Title link takes you to shots pulled via this auction.
Details:
"The outstanding aspect of this synth is the after-touch sensitive keyboard which can be used as a modulation source which makes this a very expressive synth. This synth is nice because in addition to having two oscillators, Osc B has a sub-oscillator that can be tuned one or two octaves down for a very full tone. Also, you can switch the oscillators to "Wide Freq" so they are not locked into the typical organ footages and sweep the entire oscillator range with a single knob... combined with some filter sweeps and the after touch to sync the oscillators you can get great sounds out of this synth."

Roland TB-303 with MIDI
Title link takes you to shots pulled via this auction.
Details:
"This TB-303 has been housekept and was originally purchased used. The Roland silver carrying case with shoulder strap is comes with it. this TB-303 is also special because it has a mod which allows you to switch back and forth between external midi control and internal melody patterns. you can view a sample of it here: link
There is minor wear on the corners. Please view photos for all details of it's condition. This unit does not come with an adapter. I've always used it with batteries.
The Roland TB-303 Bass Line is a synthesizer with built-in sequencer manufactured by the Roland corporation in 1982 and 1983 that had a defining role in the development of contemporary electronic music.
The TB-303 (named for "Transistor Bass") was originally marketed to guitarists for bass accompaniment while practicing alone. Production lasted approximately 18 months, resulting in only 10,000 units. It was not until the mid- to late-1980s that DJs and electronic musicians in Chicago found a use for the machine in the context of the newly developing house music genre."

KORG DVP-1
via this auction.
Details:
"The DVP-1 was a high end piece of equipment when it came out. Over a thousand dollars new back in the 80's so it would be worth a lot more by the present dollar value. It starts with a high quality preamp and then it can process the sound as either a vocoder, a pitch changer, a harmonizer, a voice thickener or a vocal synthesizer."
