"Designed by Tim Orr of EMS fame way back in the eighties. Was an extensive project published by the 'ELECTRONICS TODAY' magazine giving all the technical know how to put one of these together. Essentially a DIY synth that was also available in Kit form or readymade. Surprisingly versatile synthesizer with a whelth of soundmaking potential all from a synth designed on a single circuitboard. Filter is brilliant with a warm analogue feel with a potential earpiercing resonance. Old school looks with plenty of knobs to play with. This synthesizer has had several modifications, these are: LFO rate indicator that beats in sympathy with the ocillator frequency and a mod made to the audio Path giving an improved signal/noise at the audio output for a cleaner sound..."

"it was designed by Tim Orr of EMS for Electronics Today International. It could be bought in kit form or purchased professionally pre-built... original magazine articles - about 30 pages of info and circuit diagrams etc. Its a 3 octave mono synth, very versatile... described as being similar to an Arp Axxe."
