"This is not your typical Juno 106. The juno is a highly loved, yet highly feared musical instrument due to issues concerning the battery used for preset storage and dead voice chips. Unlike most other models, this one has been modified and refurbished entirely by a tech in japan last year (who and when I purchased it) to alleviate these concerns. A battery harness was installed to allow easy replacement of the memory battery (one problem fixed), all the voice chips were either replaced or refurbished (I'm pretty sure using a method DIFFERENT from the acetone bath, I was assured it was a considerably more efficient repair than most). Wood side panels were also added in order to raise the entire synthesizer by a small amount, and I was told it actually makes a considerable difference in protecting the instrument as a whole. The synthesizer is in wonderful working condition..."
