Moog Source analog Synthesizer

via this auction
"Very clean MOOG SOURCE analog synthesizer. Serial #: 236x. Made in Buffalo, NY, USA. I love the Source as a performance instrument...it's like having a Minimoog with patch memory but is lighter and generally more stable. This is especially true if you only need to tweak one or two parameters (24db Moog filter!) in real time, although you quickly learn to program and tweak on the fly with the endless rotary knob which is easy/fast to use with practice. It is especially wonderful (and famous) as a bass synth but it can provide delicate, musical timbres for pads/leads as well as warm raw phatness. A nice use of the patch memory involves saving subtle evolving changes or pitch (key) changes that can be strung together live to form song sections."
