Cyndustries Analog Modular Synthesizer w/TABLA
"CYNDUSTRIES modular package - the excruciatingly rare TABLA module (currently unavailable, took a good 6 - 9 months to build, and one of maybe 3 or so actually produced), the smokin' GATE SEQUENCER module and the MEDIUM POWER SUPPLY all housed comfortably in a Cyndustries SIX PAC enclosure! All modules have banana jacks and are identical to the MODCAN series A modules in size & appearance... the TABLA and GATE SEQUENCER makes a GREAT add on to any standard MOOG/ARP/MOTM/DOT COM/ROLAND modular system - all you need is a 1/4" to banana adapter and it will run flawlessly with your other modular gear (I ran it happily through my old monster dot com "hank" but since Hank's been sold I have little use for it!)."

Roland CSQ-600

via this auction
"In 1980 Roland released a new Digital Sequencer called the CSQ-600. It was an expanded version of the CSQ-100 which had been released the year before, with improved sync facilities and more memory. However it still fell short of the powerful MC-4 Micro-composer that Roland had launched 2 years earlier, but the CSQ-600 was considerably cheaper, at under £1000. It was frequently paired with Roland's analog monosynths like the SH-2, and it sold in higher volumes than the expensive MC-4. The CSQ-600 is strictly CV/gate, as it pre-dates MIDI by four years. It can store up to 150 notes into each of 4 separate tracks or parts, making for a total memory of 600 notes. Unlike the MC-4, it can only replay one track at once and there is no way of backing the sequences up to cassette. It does have a battery backed memory though, unlike the CSQ-100, so at least your 4 sequences are retained!"

Roland JX-3P

"The Roland JX-3P emerged in 1983 as the first MIDI-capable synth produced by Roland. Its architecture is more advanced than the Juno series synths produced around the same time. Both machines use the same interval-timer DCO technology and use the Roland IR3109 lowpass filter. It is a polyphonic, 61 key synthesizer with sawtooth, 50 and 10% pulse waveforms, and a noise generator. It performs as a nice inexpensive vintage synth that produces some great sounds, especially strings and brass. It has 32 factory programs and user memory for 32 programs, and a 128-step, six-part built-in sequencer that can be triggered by sync voltage from external devices such as the Roland TR-707 drum machine. Instead of analog sliders and knobs, the JX-3P used a series of buttons and a single data slider for selecting parameters."
