Roland RS-09

Title link takes you to shots pulled via this auction.

Details:
"The RS-09 was released in 1979. As you might guess from it's name, it is an analog organ and strings synthesizer. The string sounds this little synth can make are warm and FAT. They can be blended with the four organ stops for added richness and variation. This synth was used by many great bands during the 80's and of course is still sought after today for its killer sound. A very simple, but surprisingly versatile instrument with 2 VCOs, 2 independent ensemble (chorus) controls, four organ stops (can be mixed with strings or used independently), attack and envelope release control, pitch, tone, vibrato depth and rate (great range - from fast and delicate to slow, warbly spacey strings), mono or stereo outs, external audio in, gate out, and 44 key polyphony."
