Bent Roland TR-626

Title link takes you to shots pulled via this auction.

Details:
"Mark from zensystems in Scotland has totally freaked the beast out of it. All original sounds are now a bit crunchier and harder before any switching. Mods are accessed via 14 3 way switches and 6 2 way switches, giving a staggering amount of bend possibilities. The sounds range from distorted drums, to 8 bitty game boy tunes to thundering bass and just plain weird all at the drop of a switch. All the original functionality is still there making this one hell of a beast when played in sync with your drum machines/laptops/midi sources.

On top of that Mark added an 8 channel passive filter section from a juno (don’t know which one). This allows tonal filtering of the 8 main sounds. Its quite a subtle effect but works nicely with the wild sounds, kind of like a filter kill switch. 8 pots control the cut-off and above them are 8 momentaries for bypassing the pots. These are great for ‘dropping’ heavy kicks/snares/beeps into the mix."

this only went for £62 (+£10p&P), that's a freekin' bargin for that money, it's got really good bends plus filters added and it's a midi controlable drum module.... it's like autechre/team doyobi in a box for anyone with a midi sequencer and half a brain.

ps. i love matrixsynth, thanks for all the effort you must put in to it...x
