This is Roland's 1998 answer to finding that Jupiter sound in a digital format. It features 2 Roland Analog Modeling DSP Oscillators that include the famed "Super Saw" sound Roland is best known for, a resonant 12/24dB/oct low-pass/band-pass/high-pass filter, a 12-band formant filter bank and vocoder, a whole pile of effects, and an arpeggiator.
If you're looking for a Roland sound on the cheap, this is a great direction to move in, as you'll get the sound you want in a rack-mountable or tabletop module with a LOT of knobs, sliders, and hands-on control..."
