"Perhaps less popular than its bigger brothers yet this synth can actually deliver some pretty unique sounds and interesting filters. The one of note here is the 'traveler' slider (sort of combined filter resonance/cut off) adding that agelessly satisfying acid style squelch to your riffs. :)
Another unique feature of the M500 SP is the fact you can have dual presets working at the same time. Not only does this open up sound mixing possibilities with the preset voices- but it also allows the use of the Traveler filter (which only works on the first three presets Synthe 1/ Synthe 2/ Brass) combined with the onboard String/ Wood/ Voice preset filters.
Essentially giving the ability to mix two separate voices AND two separate filters..."
