Plugiator Synthesizer Desktop

via this auction
"completely LOADED Use Audio Plugiator desktop synthesizer. These synthesizers were built on the same foundation as the incredible sounding Creamware ASB synthesizers, but when the company split in two Use Audio was born. This plugiator has all 8 synthsizers in it...the original 4 and the 4 upgrade packs. The plugiator emulates all of your favorite old school and new school analog synthesizers (Moog, Prophet, Prodyssey, Vocoders, B400 organ, drum machines, FM synthesis and subtractive) all the way down to the control surface when you usb it to your computer, but you don't need to be linked to your computer to use it...it also works as a stand alone desktop synth much like the Blofeld or any rack mount synth."

Clavia Nord Modular G2 Synthesizer w/DSP Expansion

via this auction
"The much-loved and now somewhat rare Nord Modular G2. Probably the best hardware virtual analog (VA) synth ever made. This synth has the DSP expansion installed (a difficult thing to find in its own right), which provides you with more options when building your patches and gives the synth the ability to play more voices simultaneously...

People love them because they allow you to basically design your own synthesis architecture. You make your virtual synth in the computer editor (connected to the G2 via USB), then you assign its different parameters (such as filter cutoff, ADSR attack time, etc.) to the built-in knobs and buttons, with parameter descriptions provided on the 4 LCD screens. After you've made your virtual synth, you don't need to be connected to the computer to play with it, of course. You can also use it for some really creative and flexible signal processing. If you understand analog synthesis, there's nothing else out there that can provide the flexibility and live-performance potential of the G2."
