Kawai SX-240 Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer
"The SX-240 has very unique features such as 8 voice Polyphony, and a Bi-Timbral option, making it great for layering 2 separate patches for for splitting the keyboard for 2 separate sounds. In addition, the synthesizer features 2 DCO's per voice along with 1 Sub-Oscillator, 2 envelopes, LFO's with multiple waveshapes, Ring Modulation, Chorus, and a unique 24db Lowpass Filter. The synthesizer also has a 15000 note built-in sequencer that can be triggered via the clock in input in the rear. The synthesizer is a good example of 80's industrial design and has a red LED for displaying the names of the patches as well as for each separate parameter."

Sequential Circuits Prophet-600
"Twelve VCO synth with six voices and 6 VCF's and VCA's. This is the best synthesizer under $1000 bar none. It really sounds great and has that analog warmth, for sure. It is fun to play, and has midi, too. Has the factory programs loaded."
