Sequential Circuits SixTrak
"6 notes polyphonic
6 notes multi-timbral
(probably the only multitimbral analog synth under 1000$...)
100 patches : onboard memory to store your own sounds
onboard sequencer (basic but quite fun)
arpegiator (3 mode)
Unison and Stack-Mode
(the Stack-Mode allows you to layer six sounds from the 100 in bank and trigger them all at once....Huge sounds !)
pitch wheel, mod wheel
stereo out (1/4 jack)
midi in, midi out
switch pedal input
36 parameters (for each of the 6 voices) to control from the onboard knob or remotely via any MIDI controller or sequencer (Cubase, Live, FruityLoops, etc)! Yep !!!
ENV amount, ENV invert, Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release
Saw on, Tri on, Pulse on, Pulse Width, PW LFO on (you can mix the 3 waveforms instead of having to choose between them !)
Osc/Noise mix
VCF : Cutoff, Resonance, LFO on, Keyboard tracking amount, Freq Mod (sounds a bit like a ring modulator but less metallic)
ENV amount, ENV invert, Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release
VCA : Voice volume, Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release
Unison
LFO : Frequency, Prog amount, Tri/Square waveform
Really cool to program and automate from softwares, totally integrated, it's like having a synth plugin excepted that you have a vintage analog sound instead of software emulation"
