Roland SH-1000 and Roland Rythym 77

images via this auction
"This early 1970s Roland SH-1000 synthesizer was the first model of compact and practical synthesizer ever built in Japan by Roland. When new, it cost approx. $1500 U.S., a lot of money in those days (half the cost of a new car back home). -- This particular synth is in excellent working condition with only a few scratches from normal use on the cabinet. -- You have great manual control over the frequency modulation, envelope generation, oscillation and creation of wave-forms. Create your own unique and original sounds and compositions or augment interpretive works. The tones produced by the SH-1000 are rich and fat, and you have separate switching for pink and white noise.

The Roland SH-1000 is a functioning, practical piece of electronic music history in excellent working condition. -- Also included is a rare book: Roland SH-1000 Electronic Music Techniques.

I also have a Roland Rythym 77 analog drum machine, also in excellent working condition (a few scratches on the cabinet) from the 1970s. It is the first device of its nature ever built by Roland, and it produces deep, rich, distinct sounds and tones envied even by today's standards. Roland has an exceptional track record when it comes to electronic music equipment. -- Because this is a great and comparable vintage mate to the Roland SH-1000"
