Love the brushed metal and it's green. I'm tempted to get one for that reason alone.

Circuit Bent Roland TR-707
Title link takes you to shots pulled via this auction.
Details:
"Professionally modified Roland TR-707 by Robert Green of Alien-Devices.com
The Alien-Devices modified Roland TR-707 is a MIDI drum synthesizer that is capable of producing thousands of new and unique synth drum sounds and percussion patterns. The mods can effect the drum sounds in subtle or drastic ways creating synth tones, digital filtering, distortion, bizarre beat warping, and strange electronic textures. These units are great sample sources as well as stable live instruments and are fully MIDI capable.
This unit features 28 modifications on 14 three way switches and a 10 point banana jack patchbay with stacking banana cables!!!
What a recent customer had to say about his Alien-Devices modified 707... "...the examples that he has posted are no where near as wacky and groovy as this thing was sounding sync'd to my other gear. When you start to flip different switches, you have hundreds of combos that REALLY wack the sound out. sometimes distorted, Hipass filtering, complete sound changes. It's so cool. I spent hours last night with different loops running and flipping different combos. It kept surprising me for the whole time. You also have the joy of all individual outs for the sounds and the volume sliders which then effect how these tweaks sound against each other. I can't recommened this guy enough."
Basic examples to demonstrate the quality of the modifications...
707 Mutation 1 - 707 Mutation 2 - 707 Mutation 3 - 707 Mutation 4
